Browse, search, inspect, and randomly generate Unicode emoji
How to use / Notes
How to use
- Use Browse & search to find emoji by name, keyword, character, Unicode code point, or HTML entity. You can also filter by category.
- Select an emoji to inspect and copy its character, Unicode code points, or hexadecimal/decimal HTML entities.
- Search "ZWJ" to find only sequences that join multiple emoji with the zero-width joiner (U+200D), such as family or profession emoji.
- Copy the current search results as a tab-separated list of emoji, name, Unicode, and HTML in one go.
- Use Random generate to choose a category and count, then create individual emoji or ZWJ sequences.
Notes
- The catalog covers every emoji in the current Unicode emoji standard (skin-tone variants excluded); Japanese names come from CLDR short names.
- Emoji appearance varies by operating system, browser, and font.
- Some emoji contain multiple code points, including a variation selector in the Unicode output.
- ZWJ sequences can render differently across platforms. Copy the actual string when preserving U+200D matters.
